Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Haider Nazim Al-Mahna, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Assistant Professor Dr. Muslim Mohsen Ali, the department organized a voluntary campaign to examine and diagnose student cases at Al-Maali Elementary School for Boys, affiliated with the Karbala Education Directorate.

The campaign was supervised and attended by Dr. Ahmed Qasim, with the participation of the department’s staff of engineers and technician Mr. Hussein Abdul Zaid, in addition to fourth-year students. The campaign included examining and diagnosing a number of students from different academic levels, with the school administration and parents directing the importance of periodic review to provide appropriate medical prosthetic supports for each case. This activity comes within the efforts of the College of Engineering to promote social solidarity and serve the community, confirming its role in providing humanitarian and technical support to needy groups.
